We, an interdisciplinary group of design students, developed the prototype “forkEye”. By moving your perspective from one part of your body to another we're working on changing how you see and taste things. With the help of VR glasses and a device we call "The forkEye", we change perspectives and put "what's on your fork" into literal understanding. On the border between the real and the digital world we explored textures and colour in produce. We experimented with food that changes the colour of your mouth and has an interesting feel. And we created a little menu, of beetroot salad in funky shapes, canneloni with tongueplay and to finish it of a vermicelle, all served with red-staining wine. This kind of tradition, play, was our inspiration to use the mouth of truth as an interface. Under the topic of “Extimacy” (the combination of the external and the intimate) we used the face to reveal and transform a house, which turns from a typical roman city residency into the “Tempietto
